Even if you do not buy the kitten of your dreams in our cattery, be careful!
Beware of scams. There are many scams which make it difficult to find a real kitten.
1 sign of a scam is a listing consisting of only one photo and a price that is too good to be true. A purebred cat can not cost 500 dollars!
2 sign is photos of kittens with different ages, breeds, and quality from the same seller that are listed with the same price and age.
Online stores that offer you an elite kitten from Europe! 3 sign is an identical photo having different descriptions such as females in one ad and male in another.
The fourth sign is you can see the same phone number of the seller with many kittens from one state but also has many kittens from other states
Scammers have even used my own photos on their ads. Be aware of the exact same photos with differing descriptions.
Scammers will NEVER show you more photos or videos of kittens with their parents. Scammers will NEVER allow you to Face Time to see the kittens live.
Kittens must have a club registration!
Parents and kittens must have documents confirming the breed and the right to breed. Not all cats are eligible for breeding, only the best of the breed. If the cat does not have registration documents, it cannot participate in the breeding program.
Request confirmation from the breeder!
No registration documents - no purebred cat.
If a kitten or an adult cat does not have registration documents - this cat is not a purebred. Even if this cat looks like a British Shorthair!
Also consider: if you buy a kitten from another country, you will pay the full amount before kittens start to fly to you. You will most likely receive kitten, but... you may receive not the exact kitten, with lower quality or even health risks and you will not have any legal rights. What guarantee will the seller give from a different country? Especially without any agreement?
Also, registration documents can be fake as well as veterinary reports of doctors. You will not be able to check whether the registration documents and the veterinary health certificate from another country are valid. Be careful!
